1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using GownAI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. GownAI is operated by KaranLabs ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
GownAI is an AI-powered virtual try-on application that allows users to upload photos and visualize themselves wearing bridal gowns and evening dresses. The generated images are AI-produced approximations and may not perfectly represent the actual appearance of garments.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use GownAI. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. User Accounts
Some features may require you to create an account or sign in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Credits and Purchases
GownAI uses a credit-based system. Credits may be earned through free allocations, referrals, or purchased through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and allocations at any time.
6. Subscriptions
GownAI may offer subscription plans that provide additional features and credits. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings. Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of photos you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos solely for the purpose of providing the virtual try-on service. Your photos are transmitted to Wiro AI, our third-party AI provider, for processing (see Section 8 for details). We do not claim ownership of your uploaded photos or generated images. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any photos you submit.
8. AI Data Processing and Face Data
8.1 Third-Party AI Processing
The App's virtual try-on feature is powered by Wiro AI (Wiro Technology), a third-party artificial intelligence service. The AI is not built in-house. When you use the virtual try-on feature, your uploaded photo is transmitted to our secure backend server, which then forwards it to Wiro AI for processing. Wiro AI generates the virtual try-on result and returns it to us.
8.2 Face Data Handling
Your uploaded photo may contain your face, body, and other personal visual features. By using the virtual try-on feature and accepting the in-app consent prompt, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your photo, including face data, will be transmitted to Wiro AI for the sole purpose of generating a virtual try-on result
- Your photo is not permanently stored on our servers or Wiro AI's servers after processing
- No biometric identifiers, facial recognition templates, or facial feature maps are created or stored from your photo
- Your photo is not used to train, improve, or develop AI models
- Your face data is not shared with any third parties other than Wiro AI for processing
- You may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the virtual try-on feature
8.3 User Consent
Before your first virtual try-on, the App will present a consent screen explaining how your photo and face data are processed. You must explicitly accept this consent before any photo data is transmitted for processing. Your continued use of the virtual try-on feature after accepting the consent constitutes your ongoing agreement to the processing described herein. For full details on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy, specifically Section 2.3.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of other people without their consent
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Use the App to generate misleading, harmful, or inappropriate content
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated images without permission
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by KaranLabs and protected by intellectual property laws. The dress images and designs displayed in the App may be owned by their respective designers and brands. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content without our written permission.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated images will be accurate representations. Virtual try-on results are approximations and should not be the sole basis for purchasing decisions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KaranLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
